“Man will always be chasing his shadow ’til the day comes he finally realises the values of comfort over style.” – Me, just now, trying to think of a banging opening sentence for this ultimately dumb-as-hell blog.
Tucking My Jumper Into Me Jeans is a look I’ve dabbled with in months previous, largely by accident and exclusively solo, standing lone before a floor length mirror. It’s a look I’ve often thought about, dreamed of. Obsessed over, even. Lo, today is the day I let the world, or the internet, in to my beautiful, trepid secret.
My God If I Don’t Look Good. Comfortable too. Good heavens above. Not an inch of wind (is wind measured in inches?) gusting up this torso, brother. No sir.
I put a poll to my Instagram followers.

Some are vocally supportive, most (cowards) are silent in their disdain. It’s neck and neck for a while, but the milksops take it. Another clip on the heels of innovation.
What say it about Our Society that I’m far more confident showcasing my new trademark look with my handful of internet followers and people who search the #HighFashion tag on Instagram than I am to the real world? Today, alas, is not the day I venture outwards. Today is not the day I bless this small Derbyshire spa-town with their future. Today is not the day.
But soon.
